DANA ADAMS WILSON
At the end of her senior year, Coach Mike Truxler said the following: “Dana is the only senior on the team…We have everyone else back, but she will be impossible to replace.” During her senior year, he said the following: “This may be the best all-round ballplayer I have ever coached.” Opposing BIC Coach Troy Case said, “Dana Adams is just an awesome player.” The Clay County Democrat said, “CCC fans will remember her as an exciting player who could ‘do it all’ on the court.”
Dana lettered in basketball in 1988, 1989, and 1990. She scored 1,706 career points averaging 19.6 PPG. As a sophomore, she scored 396 total points. As a junior, she scored 599 points and averaged 20.6 PPG. As a senior, she scored 713 points and averaged 23.8 PPG. She had a 46% three-point average scoring 70 out of 153 shots.
She was All-State in basketball in 1990. In addition, she amassed the following honors:

Not only was Dana a prolific scorer, she also got her share of rebounds. In her junior year, she averaged 10 rebounds per game. In her senior year, she averaged 10.6 rebounds per game. For her senior high career, she ‘grabbed’ 814 rebounds for an average of 9.4 per game.
During her junior year, Dana shot 49.4% from the field and made 141 of 183 free-throws (77%).

Through 17 games at Arkansas College in her freshman year, Dana averaged 52.4% from 3-point range.
