HANNAH PARSLEY RUDI RHS 2008
In the March 26, 2008, issue of the Clay County Democrat, Ryan Rogers pretty well summed up the career of Hannah when he said: “In her senior year, Parsley was one of the most dominant players this area has ever seen in girl’s basketball.”
Her high school coach said: “"Hannah's just a special player…She works extremely hard to be the best she can. Scoring 1,000 points in her career just goes to show how hard she works and what she's meant to this team."
Her college coach said that Hannah is “…In the elite group of Lady Lions who scored over 1000 career points…1031.”
The following are some of the achievements that attest to the accuracy of the above statements:
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER 1,302 total points, 15.14 ppg
2007-08
2006-07
2005-06
HER COLLEGE CAREER:
At the end of her junior year, in the May 31, 2007 issue of the “Democrat” Hannah is quoted as saying, "I just look at it as wanting to be the best I can,…In order to do that, I have to work at it. You can't just show up and be successful. It takes a lot of time and work." Certainly her ‘work ethic’ paid off for her, especially as far as athletics are concerned, over the next five years as is evidenced by the above data.
