In a write-up in The Commercial Appeal, the writer said: “Scott(y) Johnson is Rector’s center {6’0”} and averages 20 points per game. Coach Kelly Scobey is quoted as saying…“Johnson’s 22-point average and 66% from the field…” Clearly, Scotty Johnson was a scorer.
